On August 19 at 7:49 pm, the suspect entered the Circle K at 330 East Broadway Road and asked the clerk to put a hot dog on the grill for him. The suspect then reached over the counter and took some items, did not pay for them, and left. The suspect was described as a Black male, 25-35 years old, 5' 10" to 6' 3" tall, 195-225 lbs. with black hair and a goatee. The suspect was wearing a gray hat with a white emblem, gray shirt, dark shorts, white socks and shoes.
