24 Hour Exceptional Incident Report

On November 6 at 7:02 pm, a man was jay walking northbound across Broadway Road at Acacia when he was struck by a 2007 Chevy pick-up truck. The driver stated that he did not see the pedestrian until it was too late to stop or avoid him. The pedestrian was taken to hospital; it was reported that he tested positive for marijuana.  The driver was suspected of impairment, but subsequent evaluation did not show any signs of impairment; waiting for results of blood test.
