Assault / Arrest
On August 7 at 3:18pm, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle, driven by Jose Salazar, in the parking lot at Dobson High School; Jose had been disrupting the school. He was driving in the outer driveway and his vehicle had slowed due to traffic. The officer tapped on the driver's window in an attempt to contact Jose. Jose looked at the officer, then turned his vehicle into him, causing the officer to back-step away from the car and strike the driver's window to avoid falling into the moving car. Jose left the school grounds and was located at Extension and Southern, where he was taken into custody.
